Porsche HEVs have come a long way in the past 110 years.
The worlds first hybrid was the Lohner Porsche, a 4 wheel
drive gas electric car. Porsche hybrids were over the top cars

An 8-speed transmission finds proper gear ratios for most driving conditions from rapid acceleration to descent down steep grades. The unit is able to select shift points based on driving situations. The Tiptronic S is a highly advanced power transmitting unit.

Ride height can be dynamically adjusted. Cayenne models equipped with air suspension systems feature self-leveling, ride-height control. The vehicle may be moved vertically from a few inches to 11 inches above ground level.

The Porsche Hybrid can handle all kinds of terrain and off highway conditions from mud  to steep slopes and snow. Traction management provides smart distribution of power in the proper amounts to the wheels that most need it.

Porsche 918 hybrid

You may now place an order for a street legal racing Porsche Hybrid. This car is well powered, with a 500-horsepower V8 gas engine and two electric motors. The motors in the front and rear axles produce nearly 220 additional horsepower.

As for performance, the 918 will reach some 200 miles per hour. Zero-to-60 acceleration is just 3.1 seconds. The 918 Spyder will also be able to hit over 90 mph on the electric motors alone.

Price: $850,000.
Cayenne S Performance

The SUV features advanced, permanent all wheel drive. Power is split 60% rear, and 40% front wheels. If one of the wheels loses grip, the system automatically shifts torque to the axle offering the highest level of traction.
