High Tech eBikes sells eBike kits and accessories. The kits are front and rear geared motors, and front and rear direct drive motors. Batteries for the kits may be obtained either with the kits, or separately.

Kalkhoff has a line of premium priced, well engineered eBikes. The company offers a few models from several years past if you want the quality at a reduced price.
These eBikes are purpose designed from the ground up and should last for many years.
All Kalkoff eBikes bikes come with a 2-year warranty, instrumentation, free shipping
and a $50 tune-up credit. Built in wheel locks, lights, and hydraulic brakes are standard.
Kalkhoff eBikes feature distinctive and variously styled enclosed chain protectors. The frames are high quality aluminum, as expected. Weight varies from 46 to 59.5 pounds. There are some 25 models offered in four classes. Three of the main classes are outlined below.
Hebb eBikes are well known and well liked. They are a little pricier than similar models, but the premium seems to be worth the quality gained.
Hebb eBikes feature 350 Watt front hub motors, frame mount battery packs, lightweight aluminum frames, rear hub 7-speed Shimano gears, front disc brakes and front suspension forks.
Adjustable handlebar stems, integrated LED lights, fenders, a rear rack, bell, cycle computer, and kickstand are accessories provided by Hebb. The standard 26 x 1.75-inch Schwalbe Tires get good comments.
Performance is given at typical 20 plus mph top end and 20-30 mile range courtesy of a 36 Volt, 10 AH Li-ion battery. The weight of the Hebb is 59 pounds.
Reviews of the Hebb are good with one main comment being the price. We give the Hebb 4.8 stars for quality and relative value.
Comfort e-Bikes
Tasman Tour The bike claims a 50 mile range from a 12 amp hour battery. This would seem to depend on the terrain since the bike is powered by a 250 Watt (EU legal limit) front hub motor. The 12 speed rear hub would help with pedal assist. This bike is set up for touring and so pushes the scale to 59 pounds. Price is $2,999 US.
Urban e-Bikes
The Sahel Pro Disc, Pro Connect 8 Nexus Premium, Pro Connect Alfine 11 Disc: These Urban eBikes are priced at $3,449, $3,349, and $3,999 US, respectively.
The Sahel Pro Disc offers a 40 mile range, 250 Watt motor and 8 amp hour battery. The weight is held to 47 pounds. Pedal power is via an 8-speed Shimano hub.
The Pro Connect features pedelec and a stated range of some 55 miles. Weight is 47 pounds with electric power from a 12 amp hour pack, and an 8-speed Shimano hub.
The Pro Connect Alfine 11 Disc is similar to the Pro Connect in specs, except that it features an 11-speed Shimano hub for manual gear shifting. This eBike is designed as a commuter vehicle and has an "intelligent beam" headlight. It tips the scales at 48.8 pounds and claims 55 miles.
Performance e-Bikes
Pro Connect S10 DL XTR: This eBike is designed to top out at 25 mph. The bike is powered by a 300 Watt motor and 18 amp hour battery pack. Manual power is via a 10-speed Shimano hub. The bike is the lightest of the Kalkhoff line at 46.5 pounds, which is good for any eBike.
The price for such performance is $5,299 US.
